In every country, there is opportunity to improve the quality and performance of the health-care system, as well as growing awareness and public pressure to do so.
The mission of the Georgian international healthcare quality forum under supervision of Georgian-European Marketing Association is to improve the quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care for all Georgian. The Agency fulfills this mission by developing evidence and working with the health care system to utilize information that:
- Reduces the risk of harm from health care services by using evidence-based research and technology to promote the delivery of the best possible care;
- Transforms the practice of health care to achieve wider access to effective services and reduce unnecessary health care costs; and
- Improves health care outcomes by encouraging providers, consumers, and patients to use evidence-based information to make informed treatment decisions.
The quality of care delivered in your health centre is determined by many factors, including how its services are organized, leadership, monitoring systems, adequate infrastructure and available resources, both human and Material. Quality management includes: staff who are adequately trained and mentored Improving quality is about making healthcare more safe, effective, patient centered, timely, efficient and equitable. a focus on improvement is not just about reducing costs. It is also about ensuring that healthcare is as safe as it can possibly be.
This guide is written primarily for board members of NHS trusts, but it should prove helpful for any leader in a healthcare organization who has an interest in approaches to quality improvement. the terms ‘quality’ and ‘quality improvement’ mean different things to different people in different circumstances .
